Hot & Spicy Microwave Popcorn

My first bag of spicy popcorn ever. Verdict? I am not a fan of spice that makes my face hurt for no good reason other than pointless pain. That being said, I am also not afraid of heat for the sake of flavor. This popcorn most definitely falls into this second, very pleasant category. It's a creeping heat that gradually builds but never tips into excruciating territory. Or even uncomfortable. It's a very satisfying experience hampered only by the size of your favorite popcorn bowl. There is a wicked curve on the north side of Monon on the way to Francisville northbound on US-421 that can make your toes curl if a pick-up truck tries to pass you just in time to slam on its brakes to make that turn? Yeah, this is that sensation minus the fear of crunchy death. A delightful snack that's hot enough to be interesting and enjoyable without being distracting to the point of tears and regret. My next round I plan on mixing one bag of this Hot-&-Spicy with a bag of the Extra Butter epicness! Highly recommended!
